마 25:7-10—어리석은 처녀들은 신랑이 도착했을 때 그 자리에 없었다

2. They need an adequate supply to endure faithfully in this world as they go forth to meet the Bridegroom.

그들은 신랑을 맞으러 가면서 이 세상에서 충실하게 인내하기 위하여 적절한 공급품이 필요하다.

3. Shockingly, the one whom they address as “Sir,” the Bridegroom Jesus Christ, will refuse to recognize them as deserving of admittance into the heavenly Kingdom.

충격적이게도, 그들이 “주”라고 부르는 분인 신랑 예수께서는 그들이 하늘의 왕국에 들어갈 만하다고 인정하지 않으실 것입니다.

4. (Romans 8:16) This “daughter” of Jehovah, “prepared as a bride adorned for her husband,” will be brought to the bridegroom —the Messianic King. —Revelation 21:2.

(로마 8:16) 여호와의 이 “딸”은 “마치 남편을 위하여 단장한 신부처럼 준비”되어서 신랑 즉 메시아 왕에게로 인도될 것입니다.—계시 21:2.

5. Friends and relatives slid their cards through the machine to deposit money in the couple’s bank account and then adorned the bride and bridegroom with the printed receipts.

벗들과 친족들은 그 판독기에 자기들의 신용 카드를 통과시켜서 이 부부의 은행 계좌에 축의금을 입금시킨 다음, 인쇄된 영수증으로 신랑과 신부를 꾸며 주었다.

6. If she was addressing Jehovah through the angel as “a bridegroom of blood,” it was as though she had accepted a wifely position in the covenant of circumcision, with God as the husband.

만일 ‘십보라’가 천사를 통하여 여호와를 “피 남편”이라고 부르는 것이라면, 그는 하나님을 남편으로 하는, 할례 언약에 있어서의, 아내 같은 위치를 받아들였던 것 같다.

7. Even at this late date the remnant of the ‘discreet virgin’ class does not know the day or hour when “the door” will be shut to further opportunity for admittance into the heavenly Kingdom to be with the Bridegroom to whom they are espoused.

지금 같이 늦은 시기에도 ‘슬기로운 처녀’ 반열의 남은 자들은, 하늘 왕국 안으로 받아들여져서 그들의 배우자가 될 신랑과 함께 할 기회의 “문”이 닫혀버릴, 그 날과 그 시를 여전히 모르고 있읍니다.
